For the adding of a pyrophoric catalyst to a linear alpha olefin process a new unit was build.

The controll philosophy was carefully designed and intensively Hazoped in order to perform safe operation.

Cleaning procedures and safe maintenance was of extremely importance due to the high flammable catalyst.
